Quonquont’s orchard-raised hens spend their days foraging for bugs and fallen fruit. Their scratching and fertilizing controls pests and enriches the soil. The best part? Cackleberries!
Eggs from hens raised on outdoor forage are firmer, higher in essential nutrients, and lower in cholesterol than those laid by birds suffering in factory farms or even pecking at plain dirt outdoor pens.
We supplement our laying hens with non-GMO, organic feed.
Quonquont Cackleberries are $7.00/dozen and are available in our farm store or by subscription. To buy eggs in our off season, just contact Farmer Leslie.

The Quonquont geese work alongside the laying hens in the orchard. Their job is to weed the orchards and protect the hens from predators. You might even hear the unmistakable sound of their alarm call during your visit with us!
