Visiting the Farm

Coming to the farm to pick fruit or flowers? Here are a few tips to make your visit more successful:

  • Quonquont Farm is a working farm and a private residence. Please, only come during our open hours.
  • Always check in at the farm store before you head out to the field. Picking information can change daily.
  • We sell our pick your own fruit and flowers by weight. Feel free to bring your own containers.
  • Keep your children close. Between the beaver-y waterways and the farm equipment, Quonquont is not without its perils. If you have a tractor lover in your crew and Farmer Leslie is around, we might be able to swing a tour of the machine shed. Just ask!
  • We welcome friendly, leashed dogs. By “friendly” we mean friendly to people and other dogs. By “leashed,” we mean all the time, in all locations. We also expect you to clean up after your dog, so bring a bag.
  • Please don’t eat the fruit in the field. We work hard all year long to grow these crops. We hope you’ll honor that by paying honestly for the fruit you pick.
  • And, for the love of Pearl, please don’t climb the trees. Trees heavy with fruit will break under the additional weight of even small people. Let us pick the fruit from the top for the farm store. You take what you can reach from the ground. We all win, and the tree lives to fruit another year!
