Visit the dams, pools, and lodge while learning about beaver behavior, the relationships between beavers and the larger environment, and why the farm chooses to live in harmony with these often misunderstood creatures. Join Quonquont's designer and naturalist Allison Bell to explore making garden structures from natural materials. We'll discuss possibilities for fencing and ornamental structures and use locally sourced vines, branches, and apple prunings to make a standing trellis for your favorite climbing plants. Dress for the weather as much of this class will be held outdoors. Registration includes tools, supplies, and light refreshments. $30.00

Quonquont's peony patch is bursting into bloom! We are able to offer a limited number of bouquets for sale this year. So, we're declaring Sunday June 18th Peony Day at Quonquont Farm. Treat yourself to their luscious beauty. We'll have 5-stem Peony bunches as well as mixed bouquets combining Peonies with other garden flowers. Supplies are limited. Order now for pick up on the farmstand porch on Sunday June 18th, 10 a.m. to 12 noon. We’ll also have local strawberries, spring salad greens, potted herbs, Quonquont merch, and some Dahlia starts available for sale.

Join us for this season's first hands-on flower arranging workshop with QQ’s Horticulture Manager, Maida Goodwin. We’ll gather for drinks and light refreshments, learn about crafting beautiful bouquets, and tour the cutting garden at the height of bloom. Each participant will pick a bucket of flowers and create an arrangement to take home. Come and explore your artistic side while enjoying a summer evening at the Farm. These outdoor workshops will be held in accordance with current public health guidelines in our cutting garden and open-air pavilion with ample space for physical distancing. Registration includes flowers, vase, snacks, and drinks. $65.00

We'll be experimenting with color for our 2nd Flowery Evening. Our challenge will be to choose one flower and build two strikingly different color combinations around it. Join us for drinks and light refreshments, an introduction to the color wheel, and tour of the cutting garden at the height of bloom. Each participant will pick a bucket of flowers and create two small arrangements to take home. Come and explore your artistic side while enjoying a summer evening at the Farm.
